We are currently accepting members for our 2013 CSA season and we’d love to have you join. The CSA will be 20 weeks starting mid May and going through mid September. The base price for a full share is $500 and the base price for a half share is $275. You can make these payments via the paypal buttons above or an order form can be printed out from this website and mailed to us with a check.
Standard payment plans are designed as follows. A full share includes a registration payment of $65 and three installments of $150 each month, for three months, from the time of registration. A half share includes a registration fee of $35 and two installments of $125 each month for two months. Note that you are paying a little extra if you pay on the installment plan.
We do offer a flexible payment program if meeting any of these options would be burdensome. We do this regularly and ask you not to hesitate contacting us about designing a custom payment plan that works for you.
We are pleased to be offering Paypal options for signing up this season in addition to print and mail order forms. For Paypal orders there is a non-refundable convenience fee of $15 for full shares paid in full, $8.50 for half shares paid in full, $2.15 for full shares with the standard payment plan, and $1.35 for half shares with a standard payment plan.
**Please add your phone number to the notes section on paypal orders because all we get is your mailing address and e-mail through paypal. This has been helpful in the past for us to be able to contact you when you forget to pick up your box on your way home from work Wednesday evening

Pork Share
In a pork share from Balsam Gardens, you will receive approx. 40 lbs. of mixed pork cuts including breakfast sausage, ribs, uncured bacon, pork chops, roasts, and a variety of link sausages all neatly vacuum packed in portion cuts. Total cost for the pork share is $240. We ask for a $50 deposit plus an $1.75 non returnable convenience fee for placing your order online. You will pay the rest of your balance at pick up. We have share available every couple of months, so contact us if you want to know exactly when the next shares will be availalable.
Chicken Share:
BalsamGardens rotates its chickens through nice green pasture or spent garden beds. In a pasture-raised chicken share you will receive 2 fresh whole chickens per month from May – September. Our chickens weigh between 3-6 lbs. and you will pick up the birds at the first farmers market of your choosing each month. The cost is $140. The online payment convenience fee is $4.40.
Thanksgiving Turkey:
By far our most popular meat share! Balsam Gardens raises its Turkeys on pasture for 4 months. Finished weight can range from 10-20+ lbs; cost is $4.00/lb. Pick up is at the farm the week of Thanksgiving. Deposit is $20. Online orders include a $1 convenience fee.
